Funeral Held Sunday for Benson Woman
Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at the St Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church for Mrs. Ella Woltzen, 80, who died Friday morning at her home in Benson. The Rev O. A. Braunschweig officiated and burial was in the Benson cemetery.
A well known resident of this area, Mrs. Woltzen was born in Clayton township on March 13, 1861, the daughter of Tjebe and Talena Johnson. She was married to Albert Woltzen of Benson in March 1885. He preceded her in death in 1894.
Surviving are two children, Mrs. B. E. Tallyn of Eureka, and Mrs. Tena Stimpert (Sena?) of Sleepy Eye, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Bens of Lacon, and eight grandchildren.
