Emma Jane Anderson, wife of I.M. Anderson, who had been lying very ill for several weeks, died at her home on Spring Street on Friday afternoon, aged forty-two years, eight months, and nine days. The funeral was held at the house Sunday at three o'clock, conducted by Rev, George E. Wilson; the burial will be in McPherson Cemetery.

Mrs. Emma Smith Anderson was born October 1, 1852 near Oxford, Butler County, Ohio. She united with the Methodist at Oxford in 1865. On March 11, 1873, she married to Mr. I. M. Anderson at the College Corner. The family moved to Clyde in March 1884, and in 1891 deceased united with the Presbyterian church at this place. She was faithful, consistent Christian. She leaves two Sisters, Mrs. Theodore Finch, and Mrs. Mary Jones; and mother, husband, five sons and a daughter.

Mrs. Anderson was a most estimable lady and leaves very many friends who sympathize with the family in their sad affliction.
