He was born June 12, 1930, in Birmingham, AL, the son of the late Jean Wallace Bromberg (1905-1973) and Charles Louis Bromberg III (1903-1976}.
Wallace attended Sewanee Military Academy before joining the US Navy, where he was stationed in California. After being honorably discharged, he joined his family business, National Woodworks Inc., a windows and door manufacturing company, in Birmingham, Alabama.
Wallace then married Evelyn Payne Brooks Bromberg. In 1968, their family moved to California where he served alongside Bill Bright and oversaw national operations for Campus Crusade for Christ International.
Wallace returned to Birmingham in 1972 to act as President of National Woodworks and later President of National Sash & Door Jobbers Association.
Wallace was an Elder of the Presbyterian Church of America and a lifelong follower of Jesus Christ. Wallace remained diligently devoted to Evelyn until the time of her death from Alzheimers. Wallace found joy in his twilight years after meeting and marrying Ray Napier Bromberg, the last love of his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ray Napier Bromberg; sister, Jean Wallace Bromberg Lathram (John); three children, Evelyn "Lyn" Bromberg Chappelle, Frank Wallace Bromberg, Jr. (Annette), and Charles Louis Bromberg, IV (Danice); eight grandchildren, Brooks Chappelle Wellmon (Chad), Scott Allan Chappelle, Jennifer Bromberg Joseph (Taylor), Katherine Bromberg Futrell (Matthew), Amy Elizabeth Bromberg, Abigail Elizabeth Lisette Bromberg, Hannah Evelyn Jane Bromberg, and Maddison Grace Bassett Bromberg; and 17 great-grandchildren.
