Mr. William Don Albury, Sr., age 81, of Tallapoosa, GA, passed away April 29, 2021.
He was born January 11, 1940, in Miami, FL, to the late Benjamin Ellis Albury, Sr. and Louise Albury Finkel.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Benny Albury.
Mr. Albury served in the United States Navy and worked as a plumber for many years.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Ann Williams Albury; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Angel and Jim Shafer, of Port Riche, FL, Michelle and Terry Garner, of Tallapoosa, and Tina Marie, of Canton, GA; a son and daughter-in-law, William Don and Kathy Albury, Jr., of Felton, GA; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two [half]brothers, Wayne Albury, of Kissimmi, FL, and David Albury, of Deland, FL.
In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Albury was cremated.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 2:00PM in the Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bryan McGarity officiating.
William Don Albury, Jr. will serve as a pallbearer and grandsons, Rhyder, Logan, Dusty, Rob, B-Jay, Dane, McCade, Dalton, and Eathen will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12:00 to 2:00PM.
