John Farina was executed in Sing Sing Prison on April 30, 1925, for the robbery-murder of two West End Bank messengers in Brooklyn, NYC that occurred on Nov. 14, 1923.

John Farina, along with The Diamond Brothers (Morris and Joseph), was convicted on February 20, 1924, on the testimonies of several witnesses which included the State's star witness and getaway car driver Nicholas (Cheeks) Luciano, a known Arnold Rothstein lackey.
