Fanchon M. Buresh, age 73, of 1724 Platt Street, Manitowoc, died Monday, October 6, 2014 at River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center in Manitowoc.

The former Fanchon Walters was born on January 22, 1941 in Manitowoc daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Chapel) Walters. She was a 1959 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School.

On October 14, 1961 she was married to William J. Buresh at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manitowoc.

Fanchon served as plant manager for the Cawley Company for 28 years. In her younger years she enjoyed attending her husband's baseball games. Fanchon loved to cook, play golf, cards, swimming, volleyball and especially enjoyed family time. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.

Survivors include her husband: William J. Buresh, Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law: Lynn (James) Brown, Wrightstown; two brothers and three sisters-in-law: Raymond (Geraldine) Walters, Manitowoc; Marilyn Walters (Richard's wife), Manitowoc; Joseph (Marge) Walters, Manitowoc; one sister and brother-in-law: Joann (Allan) Wargin, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Anna Walters; infant brother: Bernard Walters; one brother: Richard Walters; one nephew: Brian Walters; and a special friend: Doris Skattebo.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. The Rev. Dave Beaudry will officiate with entombment of her cremated remains at the Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services at 5:00 p.m. Online condolences may be expressed at www.jensreinboldandpfeffer.com
