Benaiah Barney (or "Benajah"), son of Daniel and Alice (Wheaton) Barney, was born January 31, 1742 in Rehoboth; died there April 4, 1829, age 87. He married, first, June 2, 1763 in Rehoboth (also recorded in Swansea), ANNA GOFF. She was born in 1743, and died March 16, 1794, age 51. She was perhaps the sister of Bethiah Goff who married Israel Barney, or was perhaps the daughter of Robert and Susanna (________) Goff.
They had seven children.
