Charles Barlow, 78, died Thursday, June 30, 2005, at Northwest Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale, MS.

Memorial services were Saturday at Crenshaw Baptist Church in Crenshaw, MS. Rev. Clint Harris officiated. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

Mr. Barlow, born Nov. 19, 1926 to the late Henry and Gladys Henderson Barlow in Sledge, was a member of Crenshaw Baptist Church and was a retired U.S. Merchant Marine.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Franklin Barlow of Askew, MS; two sons, John H. Barlow of Sarah, MS and Charles Aaron Barlow of Crenshaw, MS; four sisters, Dorothy Barlow Gregory of Sledge, MS, Bonnie Barlow of Texas, Rosemary Barlow Cook of Sledge, MS and Peggy Barlow Wells of Senatobia, MS; three brothers, Billy Barlow of Sarah, MS; Sammy Barlow of Independence, MS and Henry Barlow of Tunica, MS and four grandchildren.
