David W Archibald was born April 23rd 1939 to George and Adeline Archibald. He passed away January 20, 2021 at Honor Health Scottsdale Shea Medical Center, Scottsdale, AZ at the age of 81.

David was a resident of Sun Lakes, AZ, and most recently Belmont Village of Scottsdale. He is survived by his sister Nancy Archibald of Brainerd, MN, cousins and friends.

Growing up he was fortunate to travel throughout the world following his father's construction work. He was always proud of his soap box derby wins as a Boy Scout and attending the Boy Scout Jamboree with 50,000 other scouts in 1953.

David graduated from Baguio City National High School, Baguio, Philippines and later attended the University of Minnesota.

From 1961-1965 he worked for Guy F. Atkinson Company where under the supervision of his father George, Atkinson Company oversaw the building of the Mangla Dam in Pakistan. David was also employed by Fegles Power Service. Later he served as accountant and office manager for NCI of Minnesota where one of his favorite projects was the construction of the 1980 Olympic ski jumps and luge run in Lake Placid, New York. He remained with NCI until his retirement to Arizona.
