Denison- Services for Mrs. Althea Porter, 84, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Bratcher Funeral Home. She died Wednesday, 29 October 1970 in a local nursing home. Her home address was 412 N. 8th St.

Mrs. Porter was born November 26, 1895 in Grayson County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Dooley. She married Charlie H. Porter in Sherman on January 3, 1915. He preceded her in death in 1966.She was a member of th Church of Christ.

Leoff Sharp will officiate with burial in the Kiersey Cemetery.

Survivors are one son, Harold of Denison; three daughters, Mrs. Allene DeFratus, Mrs. C. W. Rasco and Mrs. Marvin Eads, all of Denison; four brothers, Andrew Dooley of Baytown, Lloyd and Lewis Dooley of Bartlesville and Gumby Dooley of Dallas, six sisters, Mrs Clea Hester and Mrs. Doris Nickolson, both of Denison, Mrs. Marie Elliott, Mrs.Clara Smith and Mrs. Dana Dequese, all of Sherman, and Mrs. Ina Bell of Dallas; 10 grandchildren.

The family will be at te funeral chapel Thursday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be B. E. Norman, Claude Woodley, F. O. Smith, Charlie Eads, Ira Wright and Frank Hoover.
