A.M. Catlett, 40, of 403 E. Sonoma, shop foreman for the Connell Trucking Co. here for 17 years, died today in a local hospital after a short illness. Mr. Catlett, a native of Arkansas, lived here 21 years. Surviving are his wife, Mary L. Catlett of Stockton; loving father of Mary Ann Winans and Betty Jo Catleett, all of Stockton; and brothers and sisters, Harley Catlett, Billy Catlett, Jewell Ferguson, Goldie Tanner, and Judy Rose, all of Stockton, and Glenna Richison of Sacramento. He was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters and the International Association of Machinists, Local 428.
