PEORIA HEIGHTS -- Perry C. Hicks, 85, of 420 E. Sciota died at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, 1992, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Born Dec. 22, 1906, in Dunlap to Claude and Amine Potter Hicks, he married Mary Ondrik on Jan. 6, 1940, in Burlington, Iowa. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Claudia Sutton of Zion; two stepsons, George Maxey of Denver and Henry Maxey of Waukegan; one brother, Hirlo of Buchanan, Texas; two sisters, Edith Ryon of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Barbara Kohnen of Fullerton, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. One brother and one sister preceded him in death.

He worked at Pabst Brewing Co. for 25 years, retiring in 1972. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church; Alta Masonic Lodge 748, AF&AM; and Pabst Senior Century Club.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cumerford- Endsley Memorial Home in Peoria. The Rev. William Wake will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the memorial home. Burial will be in LaSalle Cemetery in Mossville.

Memorials may be made to his church.
