Keith served with the US Marines during WWII in the Pacific. He survived Tarawa, Saipan and Tinian to be sent to Michigan (where he met Wanda) to go thru V12 (now officer candidate school) and came out an officer and a tank command which sent him to Korea. He survived both wars to die of lung cancer in 1969 at the age of 46. Those who knew him will tell you he was a great guy, a great dad, a great husband.
