Beverly J. (Kollert) Artrip, lovingly known as Meme to many, of Wooster, died at West View Healthy Living on February 23, 2021, after a period of declining health.

Beverly was born June 16, 1928, in Leroy, Ohio, to Katherine and Ora Kollert and lived in Wayne County for most of her life. She graduated from Doylestown High School in 1946 and married Howard J. Artrip on November 10, 1946. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1996. Together they had four children: Ronald (Jeannie) Artrip of Sterling, Gary (Eva) Artrip of Brinkhaven, Kathi (Jim) Weaver of Wooster, and Joni Faught of Wooster.

Beverly was a homemaker, raising her family before going to work at the Wooster Brush Company. She retired from the Brush and traveled with Howard as long-distance truck drivers until Howard retired. They then joined Mobile Missionary Assistance Program and traveled around the United States for seven years, participating in service projects. After this, they settled in Lillian, Alabama, enjoying the sunshine and many visits from their children, grandchildren, and friends. In 2002 they moved back to Ohio.

Beverly served faithfully at West Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed the Caleb's Kin Ministry and her lady friends' small group. She was also an avid quilt maker, blessing many family and friends with her handmade quilts.

Beverly is survived by her four children, eleven grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, son-in-law Ed Faught; sister Linda Gray of Wooster; two brothers, Richard Kollert and Donald Kollert both of Orrville, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Howard, brother, Harold Kollert, sisters Maybelle Strickland and Elaine Artrip, and most recently, sister-in-law Idabelle Fetzer.
