Lawrence Leonard "Larry" Hoffman, age 81, of DeMossville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020, at his home. Born on April 1, 1939, in Kenton County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Leonard and Mary Montgomery Hoffman. On October 9, 1965, he married his wife, Rita, and she survives his passing. Larry worked hard all of his life. He drove a milk truck for Buster Moreland, worked at Fedder's Feed, in Covington, Kentucky, made cabinets for Covington Cabinets, joined Ray House plumbing for several years, helped in the building of Phillip Sharp Middle School, worked with the Pendleton County Water District, Pendleton County Road Department and Kentucky State Road Department and farmed most of his life at their farm in DeMossville. Larry was a member of Saint Francis Xavier Church, in Falmouth.

In addition to his wife of 54 years, Rita, he is survived by: two daughters, Marie Franxman (Jeff), of DeMossville, and Susan Chase (Jeff), of Dillsboro, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Lance, Elizabeth, Tabitha, Montgomery, Kayla, Amelia, Lincoln and Dalton; three great-grandchildren, Harper, Harlyn and Coleson; and a host of extended family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 9, at Saint Francis Xavier Church, 202 Second Street, Falmouth, Kentucky. Interment took place in Mother of God Cemetery, in Fort Wright, Kentucky. Memorials are suggested to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, 200 Vesey Street, 28th Floor, New York, New York 10281. Woodhead Funeral Home, in Falmouth, is taking care of the family.
