Mrs. M.C. (Edna) Cannada Sr. 80, of Rt.1, Roxton died 18 Apr 1981 in a Paris hospital.
Funeral services were held Monday morning, 20 Apr, in the First United Methodist Church in Roxton with the Rev. Walt Marcum and the Rev. Glenn Vickers officiating.
Burial was in Restland Cemetery in Roxton under the direction of Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cannada was born in Roxton on 20 Feb 1901, daughter of James (Jim) Coplin and Josie Hardin Coplin.
She attended schools in Howland.
She married Melford C. Cannada in Roxton on 31 Dec 1921 and they lived in the Roxton-Howland area all their married life.
Mr. Cannada preceded her in death on 14 Nov 1978.
Mrs. Cannada was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Roxton and a member of its Woman's Bible Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Harmon Woman's Home Demonstration Club.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Robert H. McDougal of Paris;
one son, M.C. Cannada Jr. of Paris;
one sister, Mrs. Frank Sales of Roxton;
a brother, Bill Coplin of Paris;
six grandchildren, Mrs. Gary Melton, Mrs. Jerry Bailey, Mrs. Jimmy Darnell, Miss Tammy Cannada, Robert H. McDougal Jr. and Monty Cannada, all of Paris;
nd four great grandchildren.'
