Brenda Ann Dunn, 69, of Byers joined her Lord and Savior Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2021 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Byers Riverside Cemetery with Rev. Terrie Whitgrove officiating.
Brenda was born on December 21, 1951 in Groesbeck to the late Elmore Rodney Medders and Nadine (Dinwiddie) Medders Black. She was a strong Christian woman, who enjoyed serving the Lord, and helping those in need, even if it meant taking them into her home. Brenda enjoyed garage sales, and never left without finding something she liked. She is remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers Ronald Joe and Rodney Medders.
Brenda is survived by husband JC of Byers; children Joby Dunn and wife Cheryl of Rhome, Leslie Dunn and husband Nick Duzich of Wichita Falls, Sean Dunn of Wichita Falls, and Nick Dunn and wife Loy of Japan; grandchildren Bailey, Emily, Tucker, Jackson, Indiana, Kylie, Graycen, Kaitlyn, Austin, and Sophia; sister Rita Baxter and husband Glenn; brother Jimmie Medders; and mother-in-law Olive Dunn.
