A B Dear, age 67, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 28, 2005, at St. Vincents Medical Center. He was born in Camden, Ala., on December 29, 1938, to the late Monett and Camilla Dear. Memories will be cherished by sons, Albert, Elwood and Michael Dear; daughters, Joann, Camilla and Pearlie Mae; several grandchildren; brothers, Alphonzo, John, James, Samuel and Monett III Dear, Ike, Frankie and Dan; sisters, Lillie Bell, Rachel, Barbara, Lula, Cassie, Melissa, Annie and Naomi; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2006, at Timothy Chapel, 75 Columbia Street, Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment will immediately follow in Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport. Arrangements entrusted to George J. Peterson Funeral Home, 1041 Noble Avenue, Bridgeport.
