Bonita Lucille Albert Latchaw was born January 26, 1915 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Adrian Albert and Anna Mae (Kruse) Albert and died Monday, May 5, 2003 in St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, Enid, Oklahoma

She moved with her family to Enid when she was just four years old. She attended local schools, graduating from Enid High School in 1933. On September 20, 1939 she married Fred Latchaw in Enid where the couple made their home. After 1941 she devoted most her time to her husband and raising their children.

She was a charter member of Davis Park Christian Church, where she also played the piano. She played in the Bell Choir at Central Christian Church, was a member and musician at the Rebekah Lodge #21, and was also a member of the Arkhoma Home Extension Group.

She is survived by her husband Fred, of the home; one daughter, Mary E. Hoopes, and husband Paul, of Hollywood, FL; two sons, Fred Latchaw Jr. of Keller, TX and David Latchaw, and wife Glenda, of Rosharon, TX. One brother, John Albert, and wife Jane, of Milwaukie, OR. And one sister, Velma Abbey, of Enid. Four grandchildren: Jason, Ramona, Evelia, Timothy, two great-grandchildren, Nathan and Gabriel.
