Evelyn Thalassenos Amoros born May 11, 1966, passed on May 13, 2021, Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
A loving mother, daughter, sister, teacher, and unselfish servant to our Lord. "Everyone who loves and believes in me shall never die" John 11:26. She was a light of love and kindness in every room she entered.
Survived by sons, Christopher, Angelo, and Gregory Thalassenos; daughter-in-love, Amanda Hopkins Thalassenos; granddaughter, Amley Kimber Moore; parents, Ignacio and Gladys Rivera; siblings, George, Hector, Gladys Cortez, Anna Rivera. and Nelson Amoros; and a host of nieces, nephews, and adopted students.
Also predeceased by her brother, Manuel Amoros, Jr.
Ms. Amoros lie in state from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, Saturday, May 15, 2021, at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, Spartanburg, SC.
Services were held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Bethel United Methodist Church, Spartanburg, SC; burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
