Maynard L. Allen of Zealand passed away March 7, 2006 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in 1943, he was a son of the late Terrance and Flora Jane (Hanson) Allen. Maynard enjoyed 4 wheeling, spending time with his family and time spent at his brother's camp with his friends.
Maynard is survived by his wife, Wanda M. (Gilbert) Allen; one son, Justin Allen, Zealand; two sisters, Mavis Upshaw (Jim), Fredericton and Isabel Best (John), Zealand; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Bruce Allen and an infant brother, Glenwood and by a sister, Elsie Allen.
Resting at Stone Ridge Pentecostal Church, 129 Upper Stone Ridge Road, Zealand with visiting hours Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the church on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 2 p.m.
with Rev. Arol Brewer officiating, assisted by Rev. Carl and Evelyn Brewer.
Interment will be later at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Roena Burtt, Loretta Brewer, Allan Brewer, Danny Gilbert, Beverly Gilbert and Dennis Bright.
