Jean E. Adams,Funeral services for Jean E Adams,74,of Mechanicsburg, will be held Wednesday at 2p.m. in Trindle Spring Lutheran Church. She died Saturday,March 21,1998 at Harrisburg Hospital.

Mrs. Adams was born October 26,1923, a daughter of the late John and Ivy Green Wagner. She was a member of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher;Mechanicsburg Meals on Wheels for 28 years,serving on the board of directors;West Shore Chapter,American Association of Retired Persons,where she was past president and current chairman of the tour committee; and she was a past treasurer and current board member of Lutheran Brotherhood.

Surviving ae her husband,Vincent W. Adams;two sons,Barry L of Temecula,Calif. and Dwight S. of Mechanicsburg;a daughter, Linda J. Mickey of Mechanicsburg;two brothers,Charles Wagner of Mechancisburg and Lee Wagner of Camp Hill; a sister Ruth W. Nailor of Mechanicsburg;six grandchildren,and four great- grandchildren.

The Rev Steven D. Dorsett will officiate at Wednesday's services. Burial will be in Trindle Spring Cemetery,Silver Spring Township.
