Alyce Thomasetta Cooke, nee Ross, 90, of Morton Grove, beloved wife of the late Raymond F.; loving mother of Ann, Karen (James) Jensen, Paul (Nancy), Larry (Karen) and Carole (Walter Ogier); dear grandmother of Ross and Tyler Jensen, Emily, Timothy, and Willoughby Cooke, Gwendolyn, Arianna, Austin and Gabriella Cook, and Alex and Julia Ogier; fond sister of Imelda "Mel" (Louis) Maradei, Rita (Phillip) Werner and ten other deceased brothers and sisters. Born in Geneva, NY to Donato Antonio and Elizabeth Rosati originally of Roccamorice, Italy, who shortly after Alyce's birth relocated the family to Chicago. Alyce will be remembered for her superb taralli and pizzelle cookies. She was a passionate lover of art and music, and worked for many years alongside her husband at Lake Printers, Inc. Alyce leaves behind many who will miss her generosity of spirit, sense of humor, and knowledge of current events and sports. Memorial visitation at Simkins Funeral Home, 6251 Dempster St., Morton Grove, IL 60053, Saturday, 10 a.m. until time of memorial service, 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations to Services for Adults Staying in Their Homes (SASI), 1123 Emerson, Evanston, IL. 60201, appreciated.
