Clarence Baugh, 71, Nancy, died Tuesday, June 5 in the Lake Cumberland Medical Center, following a lengthy illness.

A native of Pulaski County, he was born October 17, 1907, of parents, Emily Weddle Baugh and Willie Baugh, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of some 34 years, Irene Beasley Baugh, whom he married December 21, 1944, and a son, Virthel Baugh, Somerset.

Also surviving are brothers, Vincent and Cornelius Baugh, Nancy; sister, Hattie Wilson, Somerset; and three grandchildren.

He was a farmer and a bus driver at Nancy, a member of the Chesterview Baptist Church for over 30 years, and had served as church custodian for many years.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 8, at 2 p.m. in the Chesterview Baptist Church with Reverends Warren Carroll and Edward Bray officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Thursday, June 7, with the Morris and Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill, in charge of arrangements.
