Sylvia Sons Breaux, 80, a life-long resident of Berwick, passed away peacefully, Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the Patterson HealthCare Center.
Sylvia was born November 17, 1940, in Morgan City, the daughter of Edmond J. Sons and Eveline Written Sons.
Sylvia was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Berwick, where she was a Superintendent for their Sunday School. Sylvia enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her three children, Albert "Paul" Breaux and wife Regina of Las Vegas, Nevada, Debbie Breaux, Kristine Beedle and husband Walter, both of Berwick; step-daughter, Patty Breaux; sister, Brenda Billiot of Berwick; nine grandchildren, Jason Beedle, Sarah Houchen, Richard Paul Bush, Zavien Breaux, Andrew Breaux, Cameron Breuax, Madison Breaux, Mia Breaux, Olivia Breaux; five great-grandchildren, Mykah Beedle, Nathaniel Mahalia, Elayda Mahalia, Zaeya Breaux, Elijah Vazquez.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond and Eveline Sons; step-daughter, Shelly Bush.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 17, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Porter officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, May 17, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. After services, Sylvia will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery.
