Jackson K. Grimes, of Wilmington, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, PA died on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Seasons Hospice Unit at the Wilmington Hospital.

Jackson was the youngest of 3 children born to the late Joshua and Mabel Grimes.

He attended Bishop Rosecrans High School and the College for the Dramatic and Preforming Arts in New York City, NY. Jackson was an actor. His roles include, Rum Tum Tigger in Cats off Broadway, Adolf Hitler on Star Trek on Captain Picard on TV, Pontius Pilate on "Insight", a religious program channel and appeared on the Twilight Zone.

Jackson was a member of the St. Francis Hospital Chapel and the Screen Actors Guild. His favorite movie was "A.D.".

Jackson was preceded in death by his sisters, Joann Yurich and Linda Kuhn.

He is survived by his partner of 25 years, Joanne Parker.

Funeral Services will be at 11 am on Tuesday, May 25 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10 am.

Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

His partner, Joanne would like to thank St. Francis Hospital and Seasons Hospice for their wonderful care of Jackson.
