Charles Ray Roberts was born on January 29, 1946, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Vesta Nadine (Johnston) Roberts and Charles Arthur Roberts, Jr.

Charles went into Oklahoma Military Academy after graduating high school. He left OMA after one semester and signed up in the US Navy. He served four years and then returned home to Midwest City, Oklahoma. Later he met and married the love of his life around 8th August 1973.

Charles was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. Charles was always loyal and full of fun and laughter. He loved a good joke and loved to dance.

Charles loved the Lord and devoted to the Catholic Church with all his heart. He beautifully hand-made thousands of beautiful Rosaries of all kinds and gave them to God's Missionary places around the world. Of course to many family, friends and anyone that wanted them.

He passed away in his home on April 30, 2021 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Albert Loyd Sims. His father, Charles Arthur died in 1947 when Charles Ray was only 21 months old. On 9th August 1952, when he was 6 years old, his mother married Albert Loyd Sims who loved Charles Ray and his sister, Connie Jean like his very own.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Carol, his younger sister, Connie Jean Roberts, three children Albert Sims Roberts, Alisha Danielle Fischer and Brittany Coley Roberts as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family was always very important to him. He will be truly missed by many.

Services were held at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Midwest City, OK on May 7, 2021. Officiating was Rev. Robert T. Wood. Interment at Arlington Memory Garden's, Midwest City, OK.
