Albert Peters Sr., 175 Dunmore St., Throop, died Tuesday, at Mercy Hospital after an illness. His wife is the former Mary Ziebro. Born in Dunmore, son of the late Albert and Hannah Gresham Peters, he resided in Throop most of his life and was a retired restaurant-tavern proprietor. He owned Al Peters Restaurant Tavern, Throop, for several years. He was a member of Throop U.M. Church. Also surviving are a son, Albert Jr., Old Forge; a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Sandra) Kacvinsky, Old Forge; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Garavento, Scranton, and Mrs. Mildred Rimosites, Throop; nieces and nephews. A brother, Arthur, died in 1952. The funeral will be Thursday with services at 11 am. at John F. Glinsky Funeral Home, 445 Sanderson St., Throop, with Rev. Dale E. Pepper, Pastor, Throop U.M. Church, officiating. Interment, Dunmore Cemetery. Viewing, today, 2 to 4, 7 to 9 p.m.
