William M. ROBINSON, well-known resident of this city, passed away at the family home, 721 South Walnut Street, at 3 a.m. this morning, death being due to pneumonia.Mr. ROBINSON was born of Elsie [CUNNINGHAM] and John W. ROBINSON at Lively Grove, Washington County Illinois, on the 6th of November 1848. He was united in marriage to Miss Margaret Elaine KENNEDY in Lively grove on the 20th of October 1870, and they at once took up their home at a farm near that place.
He was a Civil War veteran serving with Co. G, 13th Illinois Cavalry. He Enlisted as a Private from Richview on 20 Jan 1864 and Mustered out 31 Aug 1865.
