T. J. ROBINSON - A resident of this city for the past 10 years, passed away at the family home, 602 Sherman Avenue, at 3:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, death being due to heart trouble. He had been ill but a few hours. The funeral service will be held at the family home at 10 o'clock Saturday morning. The Reverend M L O'Harra, Pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal Church of Pontiac, will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Five-Mile Cemetery, near Saunemin. Mr. ROBINSON was born in Washington County Illinois on the 13th of April 1851, a son of John H and Elsie [CUNNINGHAM] ROBINSON. He was married in Washington County on the 1st of October 1874 to Miss Elizabeth Jane KENNEDY. He spent his early years on a farm and was educated in the common schools of his neighborhood. He continued to make his home in that county for 59 years, coming to Pontiac to reside 10 years ago. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife and the following children, John W. of Wing, Sarah LARKIN, of Saunemin; Mrs. Ella JONES of Rooks Creek; Wm. Edward, Keokuk, Iowa; Frank, of Scovill; and Nathan, of this city. He also leaves three sisters and two brothers and twenty-one grandchildren. One daughter, Minnie, died in infancy. Early in life, Mr. ROBINSON united with the Baptist Church.
