William, [ Ed ] attended rural schools near Oakdale, Illinois and for many years was employed at Fashion-Bilt Shoe Company. He married Minnie Margaret HOLLAND at Oakdale on the 5th of April 1911. She died 7th December 1924. They had 7 childern. Meg died when the 7th. child was born. Ed and 5 of the childern came to Pontiac to live with his Mother, Eliza. They lived at 602 Sherman Avenue. The youngest child Betty, stayed in Iowa with Grandma Holland, as did the oldest, Arthur. - Ed died on his way to the Fairbury, Illinois hospital. He attended the Christian Church.
Surviving are a son, David Arthur ROBINSON, Crawfordsville, Indiana, five daughters, Mrs. Nora ROTTNER, Staten Island, New York, Mrs. Betty O'GRADY, Yonkers, NY, Mrs. Gertrude COYNE, Odell, Illinois, Mrs. Edna KOERNER and Mrs. Ruth VILVEN, Pontiac; a brother, Nathan ROBINSON, Pontiac, 16 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. A daughter, three sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
