ALBANY — The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at Eastside Christian Church in Albany for Paul Francis Dieterle of Albany, formerly of Springfield and Harrisburg. He died Nov. 4 of age-related causes at age 78.
He was born Feb. 17, 1929, in Chanute, Kan., to Chris and Josephine Clark Dieterle. He married Ladell Neiman on Sept. 14, 1947, in Springfield.
He worked as a railroad machinist for 42 years, retiring in 1989.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Pat Cordell of Albany and Amy Sherman of Lyons; a son, Chris of Beaverton; a sister, Joella Burns of Neodesha, Kan.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Alford Cemetery in Harrisburg. Arrangements by Fisher Funeral Home in Albany. Remembrances to the Estarl-Eastern Star scholarship.
