He married Norma Jean KELLER the 15th of August 1964 at Pontiac. She survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Anne HALE of Pontiac; four adopted sons, Robert and Thomas both of Fort Worth, Texas, Luke of Jacksonville and Donald of Michigan City, Indiana; one adopted daughter, Delores JOHNSON of Euless, Texas; six grandchildren; one sister, Flossie JONES of Pontiac, and one brother, Eber HALE of Cornell. One sister and one brother preceded him in death. He was educated in Pontiac schools. Mr. Hale was employed as a laborer and cement finisher for Opperman & Sons Construction for many years, retiring in 1989. He was an Army Veteran of World War II, serving overseas in the Pacific Theater. A lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 886, Pontiac. Mr. Hale also was a member of Pontiac American Legion, Cement Federation # 996 and Laborers Local Union 158.
