Wilma (Lynch) Creedon, 69, of Santa Clara, California and formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, November 4, 1998 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 9 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Church with Father Steven Killey officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to the Sacred Heart Academy Foundation.
Wilma was born October 13, 1929 in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of Frank H. and Mae L. (Laubenthal) Lynch. She married Jack Creedon on March 24, 1960.
She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1947. She also graduated from Central Michigan University and later taught school in Bay City, Charlotte, Midland and West Covina, California.
She was a member of St. Justin's Church in Santa Clara and belonged to the Friendship Club of Queen of Apostles Church in Santa Clara.
Wilma is survived by her husband, Jack Creedon Sr. of Santa Clara, Calif.; three sons, Jack (Deborah) Creedon, Jr. of San Diego, Carl Creedon of San Diego and Captain Roger Creedon (USAF) of Mountain View, Calif; two grandsons, Daniel and Joshua of San Diego; a sister, Jeanne Orszag of Lansing, and her niece, Mary Anne Orszag of St. Louis, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Lynch in 1959; and by her mother, Mae Lynch in 1980.
