Fred Cable of Taft, California and Mrs. W.L. Brown of Lewiston arrived in Moscow this morning [January 6] to attend the funeral of their father, Rev. A.J. Cable. [See below.]
Word has been received of the death of Rev. A.J. Cable at San Jose, California, last Tuesday. Rev. Cable was pastor of the Moscow Baptist church for eight years, in the early days of Moscow and he was honored and loved by all who knew him.
The remains will be brought to Moscow for burial by the side of his wife, who died a number of years ago. The funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, at the Baptist church.
