Anna Colister was born 12 Apr 1869 (even tho stone reads 1870) to Wilbert O. and Mary Jane Smith Thompson, per Michigan Births and Christenings 1867-1911, as E. A. Thompson (Anna Elizabeth). She married Hiram H. Colister on 12 Mar 1891, per Michigan Marriages 1868-1925. After his death, she and her sister, Emma Adelia Clise, also widowed, moved to Jonesboro, Arkansas, where she cared for her brother Charles. Upon Anna's death, her body was carried back by train to Michigan to Laingsburg Cemetery to rest by her husband, Hiram. As told to me by Charles Thompson's grandson, Paul R. Thompson, who lived in Arkansas during these years.

Date of death could be 1950 or 1952. The final two digits look as if they were put on by an amateur hand, not cut in sharp and clear as all the other letters and numbers on the headstone.
