Betty "Sue" Owrey 77, of Republic, MO, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at her home in Republic, MO. She was born on June 4, 1943 in Richland, MO to Claude and Ethel Davis.
Betty was a member of Elwood Full Gospel Church for nearly 30 years. She started a program for "prayer pillows" that she would lovingly give to people. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and most of all spending time at the Crystal Mines.
She is preceded in death by, her husband, Leslie of 34 years; parents; son, Donnie Matthews; step daughter, Leslee Brooks-Owrey; brother, Wilbert Davis and one sister, Janice Nimmo.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Luttrull (Richard), Billie Matthews-Owrey (George) and Twila Matthews; son, William Matthews Jr. (Melissa); 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Jerry Davis (Louise); sister, Elizabeth Conley (Tom).
