Harvey was born on October 7, 1940 in Sheep Ranch, CA to Earl and Edith (Alger) Hamlow. He went to Franklin High School. He spent four years in the Air Force with the Military Police. He worked for 38 years for BEST® Fertilizer and Turf Management | J.R. Simplot Company. He married Dinah Lee Hamlow and had one son, Eric Faber Hamlow.
Harvey had a passion for traveling with his 5th wheel, fly fishing and nature photography. He also loved tending to his yard and garden. He was a long-time member of the Delta Fly Fishers and was an avid fan of the Oakland A's and Seattle Seahawks.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, by his brother Ivan Earl Hamlow, and by his sister Betty Lorraine Payne. He is survived by his former spouse Dinah Lee Hamlow; son Eric Faber Hamlow (Delanne); grandchildren Jacob Eric Whiting, Logan Faber Hamlow and Ashton Jaden Hamlow; great-grandchildren Liam Michael Whiting, Kayla Mae Whiting, Karlee Grace Whiting and his sisters Marjorie Hermance and Myrna Silva along with many nieces and nephews.
The funeral services will be on Tuesday afternoon, June 8, 2021, at 1:30 p.m. at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd, Dixon, CA 95620.
