Mrs. Hattie Louisa Abel, 88, formerly of 1713 Washington Ave., and a resident of Heritage Nursing Center died Saturday afternoon at Heritage.
The former Hattie L. Daehn, a daughter of the late William and Anna Daehn, was born April 23, 1899 in Sheboygan. She attended public schools in Sheboygan.
In October of 1920 she married Elmer Abel in Sheboygan. He died April 13, 1986.
For many years she assisted her husband, operating the Abel Mink Ranch. She was a member of the Sheboygan Homemakers.
Survivors include two sons. Cedric of the Town of Mosel, and Elroy of Sheboygan; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Mrs. Irmgard Hutchison of Manitowoc.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at the Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery. There will be no services.
