Betty Marie Rollag passed away on May 23,2021. She lived a long and happy life as a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and a business owner. She was 89 years old.
She is survived by her three sons and their wives Rodney and Kelly Rollag of Santa Rosa CA., Randy and Tami of Chico, CA, Dale Rollag and partner Michelle Tidbit of Chico, CA, She is survived by four Grandchildren and their wives Robert and Jackie Rollag of Troutman NC, Brett and Leigh Anne Rollag of Caldwell ID, Jarryd and Alexis Rollag of Chico, CA, And Haley Rollag of Fort Worth TX. Also, Five Great Grandchildren, Paityn Rollag, Ryan Rollag, Cheyenne Rollag, Blake Rollag and one on the way due in October.
Betty was born in Minneapolis MN on June 16, 1931 to Alex and Florence Kulkey. She was raised and attended various schools and jobs in that area. In 1956 she meet and married Kenneth Rollag. They moved to Garberville CA and then a few years later to Petaluma, CA where they resided for many years. In 1974 they moved to Chico, CA where her and her husband bought College Cleaners. Then in 1980 they purchased Lobdell Cleaners.
Betty was dedicated to her work at the cleaners for many years. She spent her extra time and was active in the "Son's of Norway." She loved traveling took a trip every year to Minnesota and also traveled to Europe, seeing her heritage, Sweden and Norway. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Chico. She attended and loved attending services. She loved Cooking and was a great cook!
The family would like to recognize the Doctors and nurses at Enloe Hospital enough for the great care she received in her last days!
A graveside service will be held at Chico Cemetery at 10 AM Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
