Patricia Ann "Pat" Harney Acke, age 75, wife of Carl T. Acke died October 17, 2010, at her residence. She was born August 1, 1935, in Fayette County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late James M. and Beatrice Kerns Harney. She was a graduate of Lafayette High School and a member of the Centerville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by: three sisters, Betty (Clyde) Hurst, of Scott County, Peggy Sue "Connie" Ellis, of Fayette County, and Jane Sizemore, of Stamping Ground; a brother, Jimmy Harney; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Jill Ruhl. Burial will be at Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Ron Toadvine, Jim Toadvine, Randy Hurst, Frank Conley, Charles Fay and Ronnie Payne. Honorary casket bearers will be Terry Arnold, Wayne Logan, Mark Jacobson and Matt Bedford. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Centerville United Methodist Church or the Methodist Children's Home, in Versailles, Kentucky.
