Sydnie Nicole Estep, 10, Cresson, died Wednesday from injuries suffered in a automobile accident in Munster Township.

She was born in Cresson, daughter of Allen and Mary E. (Murray) Estep. She was preceded in death by grandparents: Leo and Mary Ann Murray and Leelan Estep; and cousin, Tyler Montgomery.

Survived by her parents; brothers: Craig and Joseph; and grandmother, Aline Estep, all of Cresson; and also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sydnie was a fifth-grade student at Penn Cambria Middle School. She loved animals, especially her dog, Rusty, and hamster, Crazy; swimming and gymnastics. And what she loved the most was spending time with her brothers, cousins and two close friends, Miranda Reed and Kassidy Kreutsberger.

She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson and its CCD program, and Wolf's Twirlers, Ebensburg.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where a vigil for the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson, by the Very Rev. John D. Byrnes. Committal at church cemetery.
