Alice L. Ball
Graveside services for Mrs. Alice L. Ball, 94, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Monte Vista Cemetery, with the Rev. Don Bleyle officiating. Mrs. Ball, who lived at 1633 Culebra Ave. died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 26, 1881, in Celopa, Kan. She attended Washburn University in Topeka and Kansas State Normal School at Emporia. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Ball was a teacher before her marriage to H.A. Ball, who preceded her in death. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Watson of Colorado Springs; granddaughter, Sharon Estep of Colorado Springs, and a great grandson, Richard Taylor of Colorado Springs. Contribution may be made to any charity.
