Jeanerette – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Vernice J. LeBlanc, Sr. the former Mildred Legnon, Age 85, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery. She died Monday November 6, 2007 at 11:30AM in a local hospital.
A native of St. Mary Parish Mrs. LeBlanc had been a longtime resident of Jeanerette. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and she loved dancing and country music.
Survivors include three daughters; Audry L. Horn and husband Matt, Mary L. Schilling and husband Jimmie and April L.
