died Sunday, June 18, 2006, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Country Harbour, she was a daughter of Dorothy (Hudson) Keith, Sherbrooke, and the late Everett Wallace Keith. She was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Country Harbour. In earlier years, Shirley operated a canteen in the Country Harbour area from 1978-81. She was a very friendly, outgoing person who was a faithful worker at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church New To You Clothing Shop. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Shirley loved to play bingo, and she lived for her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Robert Chesley Bryden; son, Robert (Hope), Goshen; daughters, Carla Bryden, New Glasgow; Darlene (Angus) Hodgson, Borneo; brothers, Gary (Joan), Wade (Linda), both of Country Harbour Mines; Jackie (Marjorie), Upper South River; sister, Nina Hayne (Bill Lownds), Country Harbour Mines; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, Frederick Keith. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, 17545 Highway 316, Country Harbour. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Country Harbour, with Rev. Susan Best officiating. Burial in Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
