Born on September 18, 1929 to the late Amandon and Elberta Staudt Lamm, she was the widow of Roy A. Bomberger.
She is survived by daughter, Marie Hibshman, Richland; and son, Carl Bomberger (Cybil), Selinsgrove; grandchildren, Laura Hartlaub (David) of Lancaster, Andrew Hibshman (Jennifer) of Yardley, Cory Bomberger (Kasondra) of Portland, Oregon, Cody Bomberger (Jenette) of Butte, Montana; and six great-granddaughters.
Ruth graduated from Heidelberg Township High School, Schaefferstown, in 1947 and worked for Bayer Corporation in Myerstown for 24 years. She was a member of Myerstown United Church of Christ where she sang in the choir. For many years Ruth volunteered at the ECC Retirement Village. She enjoyed water aerobics at the YMCA, gardening, sewing, knitting, and cooking for her family.

Services and inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
