MRS. MAGGIE LOVE GEORGE
Mrs. George, the wife of the late Rev. Sylvester George, Sr. past after a long illness, July 19, 1981. She was born on June 25, 1891, in Thomasville, Alabama and was a resident of Prichard, Alabama. She was a life member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Idella George Simon, Lilly George Greenwood, both of Mobile, Alabama, and Essie Lee Clark, of Gary, Indiana; one sister, Cora Shepherd of Prichard, Alabama; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Hettie Love, of Mobile, Alabama; four nieces, four nephews, thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Thursday, July 23, 1981, at 9:10 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the church, Friday, July 24, 1981, at 12 noon, with Rev. Percy Ely, Pastor and officiating minister. Interment will follow in the Whispering Pines Cemetery. Hodges Funeral Chapel directing. (Successors to Smith and Gaston), Taylor H. Hodge, Sr., President.
