Lorraine "Lorry" M. (O'Gorman) D'Zurilla, 49, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at her residence with her family by her side. Born in Trenton, she lived in Hamilton for seven years before moving to Plumstead Township 14 years ago. Lorry was a 1972 graduate of Cathedral High School in Trenton. She graduated from Trenton State College in 1976 with a degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. D'Zurilla was an Elementary School Teacher at Alexander School in Hamilton Township, where she received the Teacher of the Year award and instilled in her students a love of science and respect for the environment. She loved travel, live theater, antiques, and exploring America's historical past. Lorry was predeceased by her father, William J. O'Gorman, in 1976. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Mark D'Zurilla; her mother, Dorothy (Puskar) O'Gorman of Trenton; three sisters, Patricia O'Gorman of Trenton, Kathleen Mortimer of Hightstown, and Sharon Modzalewski of Goshen, NJ; and several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held on Saturday. Private cremation will take place at Ewing Crematory, Ewing Township. Relatives and friends may call on Friday evening from 6PM until 9PM at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. Contributions may be made in Mrs. D'Zurilla's memory to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309, or to the Stoney Brook–Millstone Watershed Association - Environmental Center, 31 Titus Mill Road, Pennington, NJ 08534.
