Sandy was a dedicated and hardworking homemaker and farmer. She spent her spare time tending to her impressive vegetable and flower gardens. Her hobbies included baking and decorating cakes, along with many successful years as an Avon representative. Rarely taking a break from her daily work and hobbies, Sandy always said, " The key to life was to be positive and stay busy."
In 2004, Sandy and her loving husband of 34 years, Clarence Zeman, sold their farm and moved to London, Kentucky, to retire. She spent her retirement years travelling, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Gaylord and Rosella Olson; and one sister, Sharon Chevalier.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Clarence Zeman; one son, Joseph (Wendy) Hutterer and their children, Jared and Luke; one daughter, Cindy (Michael) York and their children, Makaila and Madison; three sisters, Gayette Olson, Judy Olson, and Carol Reiter; 2 brothers Roger Olson and Justin Olson; three stepdaughters, Teresa (Kent) Brandemuehl, Robin (Rick) Powell, and Lori Baker; and 10 step-grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Sincere thanks to all the friends and family for your support during this difficult time. Sandy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
