Francis C. Antonetti, 83, of Iron Mountain, passed away on March 31, 2021, at Dickinson County Hospital in Iron Mountain.

Francis was born on November 15, 1937 in Iron Mountain, son of the late Frank and Crolinda (Ballario) Antonetti. While growing up he lived in several towns in the western U.P. and was a 1955 graduate of Hermansville High School. After graduation, Francis joined the United States Air Force. He served for six years and was honorably discharged as an Airman First Class in 1961. Following his military discharge, Francis spent six years in Lansing, Michigan, owned a restaurant in Flint, Michigan for ten years, and spent ten years in Las Vegas before returning to Iron Mountain. Francis was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Church. He was a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, was active in the American Red Cross, the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Golden K Kiwanis Club and spent many hours volunteering at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain.

Francis is survived by his sisters, Margaret Bolding of LasVegas, NV and Mary (Ron) Elrod of LasVegas, NV and his brother, Richard (Mary) Antonetti of Wyoming, MI; and by three nephews, three nieces and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 12th from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain. Visitation will also be on Tuesday, April 13th from 10:00am-11:00am at Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home. The Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus will stand honor guard. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home. Fr. Janusz Romanek will officiate. Burial will be in Iron Mountain Cemetery Park.
